Dyno Tune

Why dyno tune? A note to those who plan on asking me my SAFC Settings,,,, don't
If you are going to put good money toward modifications to your car to this extent don't you
wish to get the most out of them? Is your car exactly the same as mine? I doubt it.
Then why give it the same settings with the hope that you are not damaging your engine?
Is it worth saving $300 to $400 to spend thousands on an engine rebuild? Certainly not to me
which is exactly why you will not get my settings. I respect you more than that to give them to you.
Save money installing stuff yourself. That is fine. That is also what I have provided.
Instructions on how to do so. Save money on settings? I can only say, don't do it. In the long run
it's not worth it. Why Altered Atmosphere and Mike? I have seen Dynos and have seen people at dynos
driving their own cars and setting up their own equipment or I should say trying to, because they really
did not know what they were doing. The money was wasted because they are still not set up. The exact
reason you are reading this is because you do not know how to set it up. Mike does. He drives your
car, he sets your SAFC and injectors choice up, he has done it so many times he knows it in his sleep.
I personally watched him go through the settings with lightning speed and I hardly had enough time to
see where he was let alone see what he set it at. He pauses for cool down between settings and
seconds checks which is why it takes a couple hours rather than a couple minutes. He also sets up
your Lo Throttle settings for optimum fuel mileage. That alone can save you the cost of the dyno in
the next year. Am I getting a commission from him for this plug? No. I just respect his knowledge and
hope you also will in setting up your car right. You all know I do not have anyone work on my car and
do everything myself, so if I feel this is worth the cost, trust me, it is. If I found it wasn't, I would not be
saying what I am saying here. That said, here is my dyno results and what you can expect in your visit
to Mike over at Altered Atmosphere. He is having a cookout before the Ocean City meet in May. Make your
appointment now so you will make it in for it because it's right on the way for anyone West of Maryland.
I already gave you the preliminary settings for 550 cc injectors, so do the install just before going there,
keep it under 3,000 rpm's and do it right. You will be glad you did.  I'll be there too, so say "HI"
Look for the old fart with the Pearl Blue Stealth with a Camaro hood scoop. That will be me.
Tell Mike John Adams  sent you and he will smile. I would like to think I helped his business
somehow. For no other reason than he's a nice guy and has a bunch of nice guys working for him.
He will be moving into his new shop some day soon also, so make sure you keep up with his location.
