This is just a link page to photos that show a transformation of a Mitsubishi 3000 GT VR4 from a mechanically
well maintained yet cosmetically not well taken care of VR4 to something to be proud of. The previous owner
kept the outside generally clean but neglected, as many do, to keep the engine compartment, undercarriage and
interior in very good detail. This was advantageous to me in that it created a feeling in the previous owner that it
had seen it's usefulness and the value wasn't very much and wasn't very proud of it anymore. If he were to see it
now I am sure he would feel different about it. It was a lot of work on my part but because of it's condition, was
well worth the effort. It once again has become a well respected piece of machinery that people enjoy
looking at and ogling over. Pages will contain photos of the transformation from original to completed
I never thought of buying one of these cars and before this didn't know anything about them except I liked
their looks One day I saw an ad in the paper for someone looking to trade it for a boat.
The boat was nice but I didn't get out in it much so after getting together with the owner, I liked
the car and he liked the boat. We had a deal. Since then I have been with this girl quite a lot, detailing her
to look the way I feel she should. She has absolutely no rust that I can find on the body anywhere
(believe me I have been all over her) and in general is in very good mechanical
condition. She loves me too and says she feels so much better now that she has found me. :-)
In this transaction we were both happy with the trade. He was driving a new Northstar
So,,,,  following,,, is the pictorial of her restoration. There are no explanations on how I did this. That would be
found in the Repair Center. These are all just before and after shots of the listed areas
General Condition of the car will be seen through out these pages. When I got the car, the ad said
"Great Condition" One can judge for oneself how hard you would have to look for the great condition it was in.
The drivers window was not working and broken but the former owner included a new power window unit
he had already purchased. The ash tray lid was also broken because of coins being stored in there but
I repaired it. The former owner included a new one which he had already purchased.
The car also included a working but not activated Oki Cell Phone hard wired into the car in the center console
so you could talk hands free complete with under dash speaker and microphone clipped on the visor
